Dr Apostolos K. Apostolou is Emeritus Professor of Accounting, at the Department of Public Administration of Panteion University. His teaching activities in post and under graduate level concern the following Universities : Panteion University, University Of Piraeus (Department of Maritime Studies), Athens University of Economics (Department of Accounting and Finance & Management  Science & Technology), University of Patras (Business Administration), University of Crete (Department of Economics), Greek Open University (Subject Accounting), and include professional seminars in several topics of Accounting, Financial Analysis, Auditing, and Taxation. Dr. Apostolou has numerous publications in refereed academic journals. He also has publications in professional journals and has presented research papers in many conferences. His citation index is one hundred fifty-six (156). Furthermore, he is author of the e-book “Financial Statements Analysis”, Kallipos, 2015, available at: http://hdl.handle.net/11419/3760  and co-author of the book “International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS); Theoretical approach and applied methods of reconciliation”, Klidarithmos edition, 2010. His professional experience includes working at Accounting Departments of Greek Companies, the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Greece (S.O.L.), the Ministry of Development of Greece and the Greek Capital Market Commission (Epitropi Kefalaiagoras).

Dr Charalampos Economidis was born in Athens and received a B Sc. in Economics, from University of Heidelberg in Germany in 1979. He obtained a Ph. D in Economics from Panteion University in Greece in 1991. Since 2003 has been Lecture and since 2018 has been Professor in Economics in the Department of Public Administration, Section of Economics, at Panteion University. Since 2020 Εmeritus Professor. Since 2003 Lecturer in Economics (Microeconomics I, II, Macroeconomics I, Theories of Income Distribution, Input-Output Analysis, National Accounts). Since 2005 Lecturer in Postgraduate Programs “MSc in Economics” in “MSc in Economics of Production and Intersectoral Relations” and in” Public Management”. His research interest includes Input-Output and Environmental Analysis. Since 1994 is member of the International Input – Output Association. In 2007 he publishes the book entitled “Introduction to the system and the analysis of input-output”. He has co-authored many papers in refereed Journals and conference proceeding.

Vasileios Kougeas studied Law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, attended postgraduate seminars in Administrative Law of the M. Stasinopoulos Foundation and European Law courses at the U.L.B. of Brussels. He studied Public Administration at Panteion University and completed postgraduate studies in History at the University of Paris I Panthéon – Sorbonne. He worked in the Law Office and the Press Office of the Presidency of the Hellenic Republic (1974) and as a research associate in the General Confederation of Greek Workers (1981-3) which he represented in national and European committees, in the Secondary Administrative Arbitration Court of Athens, Code of Private Law, to the Advisory Council of the Body of Certified Appraisers etc. He served as Deputy Rector for Academic Affairs and Staff (2016-2017) and Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Staff and Student Affairs (2017-2020). From 2016-2020 President of the Quality Assurance Unit of Panteion University. He was the Director of the European Center for Financial Studies of the Department of Public Administration, a member of the Center for the Analysis of Public Policy and Institutions (Panteion University). Member of the Public Accounting Reform Committee of the Local Authorities. (Ministry of Interior), the Examination Committee of ASEP, the Monitoring Committee for development cooperation issues (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), the Committee for the revision of the Public Accounting Code (Ministry of Finance). Member of the Scientific Committee of the journal “Theory and Practice of Administrative Law” (Constitutional, Administrative and European Law).

Dr. Elias Nikolopoulos is Emeritus Professor of the Department of Public Administration of Panteion University in the field of Constitutional Law. He has been teaching Constitutional and General Law courses at the Department of Public Administration of Panteion University since 1982. Since July 2016, he has been the Vice President of ASEP. He has received numerous honors such as that of the Knight of the Order of the Academic Phoenix by Decree of the Prime Minister of France of 17 July 2018. He has authored numerous articles and books and has made a number of contributions on constitutional issues. Finally, from 2016 to 2017, he participated in the six-member draft Committee for the Revision of the Constitution, which was completed in early April 2017.

Dr. Anastasios Tsamis is Emeritus professor in Financial Accounting and Banking, at the Dept. of Public Administration, Panteion University of Political and Social Sciences, Athens. He graduated in Economics (Athens Economic University) and Political Sciences (Panteion University) with postgraduate studies in Accounting and Finance – Lancaster University U.K and from Institute of Regional Development. He worked as a senior manager in Emporiki Bank Group as Chief Compliance Officer, Organization mgr., Design and Strategic Marketing mgr. and Accounting Policies and applications mgr . He has been Project Manager responsible for the development and implementation of administrative programs in collaboration with international company advisors. He has served as Member of the Board of Directors of mutual funds and investment subsidiary companies of Emporiki Bank, and as a CFO and CEO of Bulgarian Investment Bank, subsidiary of EBRD. He has also participated in various working groups of the Hellenic Bank Association.  His academic interests as expressed with papers in international Journals and academic congresses and professional conferences cover the areas of Financial Analysis, Corporate Governance, Accounting and Audit Standards. Last, he was General secretary of the Hellenic Finance and Accounting Association and chairman of the Exams and Exemptions Committees for the Certified Public Accountants.

Ioannis Vavouras is Professor Emeritus of Economic Policy at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, School of Economic and Administrative Sciences, Department of Public Administration. He was a member of the academic staff of Panteion University during the period 1980-2017 and for 22 years Professor of Economic Policy. He has studied at Panteios Graduate School of Political Sciences, from which he received his First Degree in 1976 (mark 9 and 2/7 “Excellent”). Then he studied at the University of Leicester, Department of Economics, from which he received a Master of Arts in Economics of Public Policy in 1979 (mark “Distinction”). Finally, he studied at Panteios Graduate School of Political Sciences, from which he received his Ph.D. in 1983 (mark “Excellent”). He was elected three times as Head of the Department of Public Administration (1996-1998, 1998-2000 and 2008-2009) and twice as Rector of Panteion University (2000-2001 and 2001-2004). He was also elected as the first Director of the Governance and Sustainable Development Centre of the Department of Public Administration (2009-2012). His main fields of research are: Economic Policy, Institutional Economics, Economic Governance, Macroeconomic Analysis, Public Sector Economics and Economics of Integration. He has more than 170 scientific publications [24 books (2 of them in English), 126 journal articles, volume chapters, discussion papers and book reviews (58 of them in English) and 21 articles in Greek periodicals]. Moreover, he has 54 contributions in conferences, seminars and graduate programs. He is referee in a large number of international journals. His CV is included in Marquis Who’s Who in the World and in Hübners Who is Who in Greece.

Dr Maria Venetsanopoulou is an Emeritus Professor of the Department of Public Administration at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences in the subject “History of Public Administration”. She has served as an evaluator at the State Scholarship Foundation (IKY), in European Programs of the Ministry of Education and in Research Programs of Greece and Cyprus. She has been a member of seven Senate Committees of Panteion University, the Scientific Evaluation Committee of the Cyprus Research Promotion Foundation (RPF), the Committee of Representatives of the SOCRATES / Erasmus Program. For the Department of Public Administration she has served as a member of the Admissions Committee in the Department of Public Administration, in the Administrative Committee of the “Study Center of Ancient Greek and Hellenistic Law” (K.M.A.E.D.) of Panteion University, in Coordinating Committee of the Postgraduate Program (direction “Modern Methods of Public Administration and Management” (Public Management) of the Department of Public Administration, Scientific Associations and Scientific Societies and Scientific Committees in scientific journals. She has been supervisor and member of three-member and seven-member committees in doctoral dissertations. She has taught at the Law School of the European University of Cyprus, in the framework of the ERASMUS program and in Rome, a series of lectures at the Istituto di Diritto Pubblico – Facoltà di Giurisprudenza Università “Sapienza” di Roma (Institute of Public Law of the Law School of the University of “Sapienza” of Rome) in the framework of the educational exchange program of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy. Her research interests and the writing of scientific articles concern Public Administration and Tourism Development. She has also participated in conferences and workshops.
