Dr Polyxeni Papadaki is Professor of General Theory of the State and Constitutional Law at the Department of Public Administration of Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences.

She has studied law and political sciences at the University of Athens and holds a PhD in Constitutional Law and the General Theory of the State and she has been teaching for more than 25 years in undergraduate and postgraduate courses. She has published numerous monographs and scientific articles on the scientific fields of General Theory of State and Constitutional Law, Constitutional History, Governance, Local, Regional and Federative Administration, Regimes and Political systems and she has taught as a visitor professor in many Universities in Europe. She is a member of the Athens Committee for the Citizenship, of the Greek Constitutionalists Association and she was a member of the Athens Bar Association (1993- 2017).

She has served as Head of the Department of Public Administration (2016-2020) and she is a member of many boards and committees with academic, scientific and administrative duties.
